Mystery 30 Mk II premiers at the London Boat Show.
David Thomas’s 30ft racer-cruiser has always had a minimalist racing interior. However, in reaction to the increasing interest in the Mystery 30 as a cruising yacht and the popularity of her sister, the Mystery 35, Mystery Yachts have developed a traditional luxury interior.
In effect, the Mystery 30 MKII has everything – she is fast, stable and responsive making her an ideal coastal and offshore 4 berth cruiser and racer, but without compromise on living comforts.
The Mystery 30 (previously known as the Link 30) is one of the latest designs to come from the drawing board of David Thomas. She is a beautiful yacht with classic lines that will attract the sailing family looking for a boat that is a joy on any point of sail. The Mystery 30 is fast, stable and responsive making her an ideal coastal and offshore 4 berth cruiser.
Her 14hp inboard diesel engine provides fast cruising speeds under power and the ability to drive effortlessly and comfortably into a head sea.
We have aimed to link the modern cruiser production methods with the traditional yachtsman's wish to sail fast and look the part. We have gone back to the future of yacht design and produced the Mystery 30: a pretty boat that will be a pleasure to own.
