Many of you undoubtedly sail with your other half, but not everyone is married to someone with as much expertise as themselves. In this situation, sail-shy husbands and wives might have a few fears about the worst case scenario... man overboard....
Well, this has been given some thought by Newbury Yacht Club, who decided to run a course: 'Man overboard for the terrified wife' (or husband, obviously!). You may have seen the resulting article in PBO last month. Now nervous spouses needn't worry about losing their (self proclaimed) sailing expert overboard. Well, not by accident anyway.
They just so happened to demonstrate the retrieval of an overboard man from a Mystery 35 called Agatha.
