They will be helpful and friendly but it is nice to put a face to the voice…… Peter Thomas – Managing Director Peter Thomas joined Cornish Crabbers in 2001 as an assistant salesman and soon became fascinated with the classic tradition of Gaff rig sailing. He is now Owner / MD and has a hand in all aspects of the company from Sales to Product Design. He enjoys close contact with our customers where time permits. Zoe Beckerleg – Financial Controller Financial Controller since June 2011 Zoe holds a highly important and varied role. With a strong accountancy background she also takes responsibility for Payroll and HR. A great lover of the outdoors, Zoe especially enjoys hiking with her faithful Springer Pluto and swimming in open water whenever the opportunity arises. Sam Thomas Working at Crabbers for the last few years, Sam is now taking on the ‘front of house’ role. Answering questions, sending out shop orders and really doing anything else that needs to be done. Loves to sail or a potter around the golf course, given the time. Richard Dines – Foreman Boat Builder Richard joined Cornish Crabbers as an apprentice in 1979 building MK1 Crabber 24’s and Traders. Now the craftsman responsible for all of the stunning woodwork onboard all Mystery Yachts & Pilot Cutter 30s. A well respected and dependable member of the team, Richard along with our other foremen form the backbone of the company. Pete Prior – Rigger After studying boat building at college, Pete joined us in 1987. His main role is to rig all of our boats but over the years he has gained invaluable experience in each of our departments – there’s not much about Crabbers that Pete doesn’t know! Pete loves the water, being a keen surfer & kayaker.
