Adventure 32 NEW for 2018

SAIL AWAY FOR £139,950

Cornish Crabbers have optimized every bit of the 32 feet for family or ‘twin couple’ cruising – even the standing headroom measures in at an impressive——-

Below deck features:

  •  Privacy for sleeping with double cabins fore and aft.
  •  A central salon area provides 2 bench settees perfect for making up extra single berths and an optional extra child berth which provides the perfect cuddy hole for one of the children.
  •  Well appointed galley designed to make hosting, even a larger crew, pleasurable.
  •  The drop leaf table over the well hidden centreplate case provides ample room for everyone to sit in comfort.
  •  Chart table to the starboard side provides space for the crew’s navigator to plan the route ahead.
  •  Separate heads compartment with loo, sink and shower gives access to a spacious wet locker which can also be top-loaded from the cockpit locker hatch providing valuable stowage space for essential gear.

The Adventure 32 is designed to be a more performance minded cruiser.

The ‘close stayed aluminium Bermudan rig gives a powerful jib for use in lighter conditions to windward or powerful beam reaching.

The inner staysail is optimised for windward work in over 15 knots making sheeting simple and tacking a doddle. This version also incorporates a very neat ‘clipper anchor stowage’ system with anchoring from the cockpit with the press of a button.

An ingenious cast iron ballast keel configuration also houses the structure for the lifting keel mechanism. A sturdy skeg rudder will make for safe, shallow draught exploring and peaceful shallow water berthing.

Long keel sailing characteristics make for comfortable sailing but if overdone can compromise manoeuvrability in close quarter situations. The hull lines on this 32’er are designed to reduce the forefoot and skeg areas to accommodate this manoeuvrability requirement.

The new 32’s are the continuation of the next generation of Cornish Crabber sailing yachts. You will see from the hull lines that performance, stability and manoeuvrability are high on the design brief. David Thomas Yachts Limited has combined over 45 years of experience to maximise all these requirements without compromise.

Whilst we have maintained the traditional look of chined upper sections we have made the underwater profile smooth to maximise performance and ease construction. The modern underwater will benefit both the Crabber & Cutter performance on all points of sailing.

Cornish Crabbers are producing the optimum combination of classic looks with modern performance with a construction finish to be proud of for generations to come.
