The interior layout includes 4 berths comprising of a large forward cabin containing a good sized double berth and two generous settee berths in the saloon. The galley area is well equipped with sink, full oven / grill and lots of storage space for everything you need for a well fed cruise. The separate heads compartment has a shower, sea toilet and hanging locker. Unusually for a boat this size, there is full standing headroom throughout the boat.

ハル

Hand laid solid GRP hull with no foam core. Integral centreplate case laminated as part of the complete hull structure. Internal bunk and forepeak moulding plexus bonded into hull with internal bulkheads bonded to both hull and deck mouldings. Standard colours are Off White, Dark Blue or Dark Green. The hull and deck joint is by way of an overlap or ‘Biscuit tin’ with plexus / GRP bonding .

The rudder is transom hung on two stainless steel ‘pintle & gudgen’ hangings bolted through the transom with hard wood backing pads. The bottom weight bearing rudder fitting is bolted to the hull skeg. The rudder is constructed from a GRP skin with a foam core. Anti-fouled as specified.

Engine Beds

Ballast

Ballast is by way of three internally bonded lead castings. Each casting is laid on bonding paste and over boded with GRP to for a watertight sole floor. A galvanised steel centreplate forms part of the ballast with a stainless steel lifting wire leading to an ‘on deck’ purchase system.

Boot Top

A single boot top moulded in gel coat located above antifouling level. Colour in contrast to main hull in customers choice.

Top plank

The top plank effect is in a colour to match either the main hull or the Boot Top. It is surrounded by upper and lower teak gunwales as standard.

Hand laid GRP with balsa core in way of horizontal load areas. Hard wood pads under deck fittings and stress points.

コックピット

Cockpit locker lids are hand laid with balsa core. Integrated non slip with optional two tone colour. Cockpit drains are solid GRP tubes bonded to Hull & Deck to form a solid structure. Access too engineering is via a lifting sole which is bolted and sealed whilst at sea.

Deck Drains

The deck is self draining along the integral GRP toe rail and via the cockpit drains at the aft end of the cockpit sole. The anchor well is drained via direct drain holes which open to sea above the waterline. There are no closing sea cocks required as all drains are either above the waterline or of solid construction.

Toe rail and Stemhead Fitting

The deck incorporates a GRP toe rail with drain points. This extends the full length of the deck leading to a Stainless Steel stem fitting including bow anchor / mooring roller through bolted to hull & deck.

Mooring cleats:

Six 8″ (20cm) anodised aluminium cleats are fitted to the deck, two forward two aft and two amidships.

Stern Pulpits / Stanchions:

The stern pulpits are in 1″ (25mm) stainless steel tube and are fitted to the deck fore and aft. The stern pulpit is fitted with a folding boarding ladder, an ensign staff holder and also supports the stern navigation light.

Hatches

A Perspex sliding companionway hatch is located inside a covered GRP garage. Two varnished plywood washboards are supplied which can be stowed in the port cockpit locker when sailing. A security lock is located in the top washboard. Opening aluminium hatches are located in the forward cabin and saloon.

Ports

3 aluminium fixed ports are fitted to each side of the deck coach roof.

Chainplates

Chainplates are in stainless steel and through bolted on the hull sides. Stiffening knees bonded to the hull are incorporated into the internal locker structure.

Winches

Four size 8 sheet winches mounted either side of the cockpit on teak bases and two size 16 self tailing halyard winches on the coach roof top.

Tracks

Adjustable control line aluminium mainsheet track / car and adjustable stopper aluminium tracks for Jib & staysail.

Vents

Two flush coach roof vents for Galley and heads compartments.

A sealed locker for gas bottles is located at the aft end of the cockpit draining overboard.

Cockpit Lockers

Two main watertight lockers with latches and padlocks are provided. An additional watertight stowage locker is found under the companionway step.

Laminated in Sitka Spruce and treated with Sikkens Cetol. Top stainless steel mast band to take Cap shrouds, jib and mainsail peak halyards. Lower mast band incorporating stainless steel spreader bars, forestay attachment, lower shrouds and mainsail throat halyard. All mast bands and fittings in stainless steel with associated fastenings. Deck mounted on a substantial stainless steel tabernacle.

Main Boom

Laminated in Sitka Spruce and treated with Sikkens Cetol. Stainless steel gooseneck fitting, kicker and mainsheet bands and all associated reefing line leads / terminals.

Bowsprit

Laminated in Sitka Spruce and treated with Sikkens Cetol. Stainless steel pivot fitting, end plate and bobstay take off points.

Gaff

Laminated in Sitka Spruce and treated with Sikkens Cetol. Stainless steel gaff collar with rubber protection on bearing surface. Wire hoist span and wire block.

Stern Gear

A 25mm stainless steel shaft is fitted connected to the engine via a flexible coupling and fitted with a Tides Marine ‘lip seal’ gland. The shaft drives a fixed 3-bladed propeller with optional 3 blade feathering upgrade.

Yanmar 3YM20 19hp marine diesel engine. A 60 amp (12V) alternator is fitted to the engine.

Engine Instruments and Controls

The engine instruments are located at the rear of the cockpit coaming and are recessed with a clear cover. Instruments include tachometer, audible alarm, alternator warning light, start switch and stop control. A single lever engine control is supplied and fitted in the cockpit.

Engine Cooling

The engine is fitted with a closed freshwater system, which is taken through a calorifier tank and used to heat the domestic fresh water. A 3/4″ diameter pipe leads from the main seawater inlet through a strainer to the engine heat exchanger and discharges overboard through the exhaust.

Engine Exhaust

Cooling water is injected aft of the engine and through an exhaust water trap. A flexible exhaust hose connects the exhaust, via a swan neck, to the outlet valve fitting aft.

Fuel System

A plastic diesel tank with a capacity of approximately 61 l, breather and gauge. The tank is fitted with flow and return lines, the flow line having a manual shut off valve .

Bilge System

1 x Manual bilge pump operated from the cockpit. 1 x auto electric bilge pump with switch at switch panel.

Fresh Water Tanks

One stainless steel tank with a total capacity of approximately 55 imperial gallons (250 litres), fitted with a filler pipe, breather pipe, inspection hatch, take off pipes and dip stick.

Fresh Water System

Water is passed through a calorifier heated by the engine as standard. A hot and cold mixer tap is provided in the galley with stainless steel sink. The heads compartment comes as standard with a shower / tap and stainless steel sink.

Soil System

Heads discharge directly to sea via a vent loop and skin fitting. There is an option to fit a holding tank to the heads in which case black water can be discharged to the holding tank and then pumped out to sea or pumped out via a deck fitting.

Gas System

One gas bottle is fitted in the gas locker with connector to a regulator with shut off valve. A secondary gas shut off can be found at the galley. The gas system feeds an oven with twin burners and a grill. Gas supply is of High Pressure rubber hose lead in a conduit from the gas locker to the internal gas tap. From the internal gas tap to the cooker the hose is protected with a stainless steel braided cover.
