After spending nearly 16 years working at the forefront of Cornish Crabbers, Kay Nichols has taken retirement. Many customers will have met her either at a boat show or the Rock office. Kay has been the hub of the business, providing the vital link between customer and production.

On her final day we all enjoyed watching Kay tick off  from her bucket list “Drive a forklift truck”! A buffet & cake from local bakery ‘Barnecotts’ was relished by all with drinks served from the famous ‘green watering can’

Kay intends to spend time with her husband, working on the garden, walking our lovely local Cornish coastal routes and enjoying time with family and friends. A cornerstone of the business Kay will be greatly missed by all of our staff and customers but we all wish her a wonderful and happy retirement.

Cathy Millar has been recruited to take over from Kay and has flown with the huge variety of tasks required of her since starting. With a background in sales and marketing Cathy has lots of experience and skills that will ensure her success in developing this integral role.
