30 boats entered the Peter Keeling Shrimper Week 2014 at Rock Sailing & Water Ski club. All competitors agreed that the extraordinary weather added a favourable aspect to an already popular and well organised event. Warm days, blue skies and fair winds provided the perfect backdrop for both fantastic sailing and social events.

Courses set by Dave Parr and his team on board the committee boat saw the fleet racing challenging courses within the bounds of the Camel Estuary. Winds ranging from gentle force 2/3 up to a gusty force 5 on the last race. Day 5 was the traditional race up the river to Wadebridge with over 20 boats rafted up on the town pontoon and crews partaking of afternoon tea at The Glasshouse Restaurant.

A well-attended social calendar included BBQs, Fish suppers and golf tournaments which all added to the geniality of the whole week. The Cornish Crabber Pimms & sausage night was a lovely convivial evening of good food and company in a beautiful, sunny garden. Perfect!

The prizegiving dinner at RSWSC was the culmination of a great week. A lovely menu served by the hardworking team lead by Richard was a pleasure to be a part of.
